The Spider ICT4D Series is an interdisciplinary publication that aims at increasing the understanding how ICTs can contribute to creating conditions which enable people in developing countries to improve their lives by exploring:

  • the link between ICTs and economic, social and political development with a particular focus on Spider’s thematic priorities, health, governance and entrepreneurship
  • sustainable and contextually relevant and appropriate ICT solutions
  • strategies to move forward in utilizing ICT to address future development challenges
  • the contextual and institutional factors that affect the results of ICTs for development initiatives
