Master's Program in ICT for Development starting in the fall semester 2010.
Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) is theapplication of ICT for socio-economic development in a broad sense withfocus on the specific needs and problems in developing countries.
TheDepartment of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University haspioneered in the field of ICT4D for over 15 years. Thisinvolvement has spanned all areas from infrastructure development togeneral and specific capacity building
The Master's program is intended for students and top-level or mid-leveladministrators and executives who would like to broaden and deepentheir knowledge of ICT, its management and application to thedeveloping world. Typical professional roles for graduates of thisprogramme include consultants and project managers in ICT projects inglobal settings with a focus on developing countries.
Students from outside the EU/EEA should apply no later than January15th, 2010 and students from the EU/EEA should apply no later than April 15th,2010.
