Master Programme in ICT for development, 120.0 credits

Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) is the application of ICT for socio-economic development in a broad sense. As such it is an interdisciplinary field combining ICT with social sciences, legal issues etc. In our ICT4D master’s programme the focus is on the specific needs and problems in developing countries.

The master programme in ICT for development at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV) will develop your skills and knowledge needed to address these issues in developing countries. In addition to a solid background in computer and systems sciences the programme includes necessary social science courses. The programme will address some of the prominent few themes in ICT4D, among these e-learning, e-health, and e-governance.
